We created artwork using the things we collected on our nature walk last week, painting with the sticks and stamping with the pine cones, leaves and crab apples. 

 These paintings will be going up on our 'Autumn Artwork' display. 

Today we have been learning about spatial awareness and relationships such as behind, underneath, below, over, under and on top of. We also practised being behind and in front of each other in lines, a skill that they have to use when they start 'big school'. 

 As it was a rainy day today we decided to make raindrops for our weather wall using ripped up tissue paper. Now all we need is some snow...

  We have been out collecting items to put in our nature tray. We found twigs, leaves, crab apples, pine cones and moss which we will also use as art materials. 










We also found time to do a little stone skimming in the river 😀

When its a bit too wet to play in our garden we like to go on a walk to see what we can find. These are a few things that the children found and picked. All photos were taken by the children 😁 

 Welcome back to all our little busy-bees, we're all so happy to be back and have had a lovely first (half) week back with the children learning new songs and practising their numbers.
